What happens to what you type
Everything you enter on your TD1, including your name, SIN, address and signature, is processed by code running in your own browser. The official CRA forms are filled in on your device and saved straight to it. None of it is sent to this site's server or to anyone else, and none of it is stored after you close the page.
Support requests
If you send a support request, we receive what you type in that form: your name if you give it, your email address, the topic and your message. It's stored securely with our hosting provider so we can answer you, and a copy is emailed to our support inbox. Anything that looks like a social insurance number is removed before it's saved. To limit spam we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, not the address itself. Support requests are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Cookies and tracking
Easy TD1 doesn't use cookies, ads or tracking scripts. All of its code, fonts and libraries are served from this site; nothing is loaded from third parties while you fill out your forms.
Tips
If you choose to leave a tip, you're taken to a separate payment page run by the payment processor. That page has its own privacy policy, and this site never sees your card details.
Hosting
Like any website, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability. These logs never contain anything you type into the forms.
